WEBSITE DESIGN
After the end of the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown, we collaborated with Tasty Jerk, a Caribbean eatery based in London's Elephant Park.
We started by giving their social profiles a bold, colourful aesthetic, amplifying the tropical brand aesthetic they already had in place. Then we chose to focus on various elements of digital marketing as well as customer experience, including video-based digital signage and an order system (Order Ahead).


VIDEO-BASED
DIGITAL SIGNAGE
Video is in our DNA, so this year we decided to venture into digital signage to expand our portfolio. Digital signage helps businesses standout from the crowd on the high street, whilst also allowing a brand to continuously visually evolve. Digital signage is here to stay and for many businesses, there is no going back to print.
The digital menu we created for Tasty Jerk combines animated graphics, food photography, colourful, playful typography, highlighting the brands playful, escapist aesthetic.







IG STORY VIDEO ADVERT
During the government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme we helped Tasty Jerk communicate their participation to their customers through social-optimised video marketing content.
The piece to the right was launched alongside a social shoutout by a prominent Instagram London food-blogger called Jack (IG: thetasteaddict), who also distributed the advert for us on his IG story, followed by ove 14K followers.

VISUAL DESIGN
Tasty Jerk asked us to create a website to tackle a worrying digital obscurity. During the websites design, we pitched the idea of an Order Ahead system that would enable customers to select dishes and pay for them from their smartphone before collecting. TJ loved the idea and asked us to incorporate it into the website.
We created a website optimised for mobile and desktop that told TJ's story, emphasised their playful brand aesthetic and seamlessly allowed customers to order food before arriving, to ensure consumer-confidence during the 2020 pandemic.
